INTRODUCING.....

Mr. and Mrs. Seegmiller!

Brent and I were married on May 27, 2009, in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. The weather was perfect, and since we got married on a Wednesday afternoon, we were the ONLY people on the grounds.

We picked May 27 to get married because it was already our anniversary. We actually started dating in November of 2005, but we were both too...righteous?...to admit that we were actually together. I think the word I'm looking for is actually denial. I didn't want a boyfriend in high school and Brent didn't want a girlfriend while he was on his mission. So, it took us 6 months of seeing each other every day to finally admit we were in love. We became "official" on May 27, 2006, and were married three years later.

Our Ceremony was at 1, so everyone had plenty of time to get ready and to relax. My parents and I arrived in Salt Lake at about 11:30 so we could check in the temple and get ready for the sealing at 1. My mom and a really sweet lady from the temple helped me get into my dress and find a bolero to cover the sleeves. I had a few minutes to sit with Brent in the Celestial room before our sealing. I think that was one of my favorite parts.

I think our sealer's name was Brother Garff. He was very nice, but he couldn't quite get my name right, but I'm sure Heavenly Father knew who he was talking about, so it's not a big deal. He talked to us about praying nightly together, reading the scriptures together, fostering service and making sure we always took time for a date night. It was wonderful to see so many of our family and friends there and to have time to feel the influence of all those who were there in spirit.

We took pictures for about 2 hours after the sealing (We adore Julie, we should be getting our pictures back very soon) and then headed over to the wight house for a wedding dinner. It was all so beautiful there, everyone did a really good job decorating and making things wonderful. We took some more pictures, had some excellent Italian food, heard toasts from Brent's Best Man, his cousin Jesse, and my maid of honor, my best-friend-since-kindergarten, Wendy. We cut the cake, danced, and exited with a procession of bubbles.

I couldn't have asked for a better day and I am so thankful for everyone who shared it with us.

Kathy and her girls waiting for us to come out.

I think this is a hilarious picture of Dallin and Gideon.

We finally came out!

Hugs all around

Larke was very interested in my flowers, my dress, my veil, but most of all my necklace. She kept grabbing at it all night saying "necklace!" and then trying to yank it off. It's lucky she's adorable.

This is what Bigum and Annie really think of us!

Brent loves my sisters. He didn't have little sisters, so he's always wanting to do stuff with them.

Myles and Katie got married May 8. Myles and I were really great friends and it really meant a lot to us to have them at our wedding.

This is our mutual friend, Claire/Tink, whom we met through almost 4 years ago. She works at the Nauvoo cafe and went on break right when we came out of the temple. We were both so excited to see her!

These are Claire's parents, David and Lisa Safeer. We like to call them Momma Lisa and Papa David. They were so wonderful to us through EVERYTHING. Brent slept at their house every weekend during our engagement, they helped us a TON with the wedding, and were just generally amazing. We love them!

Here I am with my moms.

Melissa and Tiff"annie" are best friends. She's been adopted into our family, and she loves the little kids almost as much as they love her. I think this picture is funny. You'd never guess which one was the family member and which one was the friend.

My three nieces.

Dallin is crazy. He keeps me entertained.
We opted to be less than polite with our cake.

Our nieces and nephews minus Preston who was sleeping and Mason who was tiny (2 weeks old if I remember correctly)

We're coming out!

I think we just saw our car in this picture.

The most mormon car ever.

Yeah...Brent's still a student driver. He should get his license this week, though!
